School group rates are available for 60 minute Educational Cruises Monday – Friday at 9:00am and 10:30am (additional times offered in May, September, and October). Any group belonging to an educational organization that has at least 40 passengers qualifies for school pricing and schedule. Milwaukee Boat Line requires full payment to book your cruise. All cruises are subject to availability. We cruise rain or shine! Temperatures can drastically vary on the lakefront, rivers, and mainland- please help make sure you and your students stay comfortable by dressing in layers (year round). Vista King offers a enclosed lower deck with heat and opening windows, and canopy covered top deck. A 1:10 adult to student ratio is required; chaperones within the required ratio will cruise free of charge, additional chaperones will be charged the chaperone rate.
Payments, Cancellations, Changes & Refunds
To qualify for school group discount you must make a purchase for a minimum of 40 paid passengers through the Milwaukee Boat Line office (Field Trips are not available for scheduling online) and belong to an educational organization.

-Full payment required in order to secure your cruise.
-We accept cash, check, Master Card, Visa, Discover Card and American Express. We do not accept Purchase Orders.
-Reservations not paid by the due date are subject to cancellation.
-School Groups may modify their numbers up until two weeks prior to cruise.
-No refunds or credits given for persons missing on the day of your trip, additions to your headcount may be made, within reason, but only if space is available.
-All payments are non-refundable.
Directions & Arrival at Milwaukee Boat Line
-We are located at 1124 N Old World 3rd St., with boarding taking place on the West side of the River between the Juneau Avenue and Highland Avenue pedestrian bridges. You may also find directions on our Location page.
-There is not on-site bus parking or official unloading zones, please consult your bussing company for further direction.
-School leader needs to check-in at the assigned vessel 15 minutes prior to cruise departure time.
Safety & Rules of Decorum
-For the safety and enjoyment of all passengers, United States Coast Guard safety regulations must be followed by all passengers. All students must be with a teacher or chaperone and supervised at all times. Disruptive or unsafe behavior will not be permitted and may result in the cruise ending early without a refund.
