Tour Guide

JOB DESCRIPTION. Tour guides are responsible for providing an entertaining narrative of Milwaukee’s history, architecture and maritime involvement. Tour guides should be visible at all time and engage with passengers on a regular basis to provide a comprehensive and enjoyable tour. Narrated tours operate 7 days a week June - September and weekends in May & October. These are typically, daytime shifts approximately 7 hours in length. Possible private event work, hours and time vary.

REQUIREMENTS. This is job requires excellent communication and public speaking skills. Materials and training will be provided, however an interest in Milwaukee and maritime history is imperative. Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION. Must be available late May to early September. 10-30 hours/week, $20+/hr based on experience.


DECKHAND

JOB DESCRIPTION. Deckhands are an integral part of the safe operation of all vessels. They are also charged with supporting the captain and ensuring the necessary comforts of guests. This includes, but is not limited to, securing, maintaining and cleaning the vessel. Deckhands should be visible at all times and interact with the passengers on a regular basis in order to provide quality customer service.

REQUIREMENTS. This is a very active job that requires Deckhands to be on their feet with the ability to: lift 25 lbs, getting on & off the vessels, climbing over barriers 4' high. Long days may be required during peak season. Must be available some nights and weekends. Due to USCG regulations, must be United States Citizen, must pass pre-employment drug test and remain on random drug screening program.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION. Positions available May through October. 15-40 hours/week, $15+/hr based on experience plus tips/gratuity.


STEWARD

JOB DESCRIPTION. We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. If you have a passion for mixology and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you.

REQUIREMENTS. This is a very active job that requires Stewards to be on their feet most of the time. Long days may be required during peak season. Must be available some nights and weekends. Bartending experience is a big plus.Due to USCG regulations, must be United States Citizen, must pass pre-employment drug test and remain on random drug screening program.

SCHEDULE & COMPENSATION. Positions available May through October. 20-40 hours/week, $15+ based on experience plus tips/gratuity.
